Spring is almost upon us and it’s set to be a golden one. Fresh peachy skin, nude lips and splashes of golden eyes were abundant on the catwalks for the new season.

Here’s how I created this sparkling spring look at London Fashion Week.

For the skin:
Using a dry sponge, apply Mac Face and Body Foundation (RRP £23.50) evenly over the skin. Pat blemishes with Bobbi Brown Concealer (RRP £23.50). Use Dior Skinflash (RRP £25) under the eyes, blending in to the foundation. Finish with a light dusting of Mac Blotting Powder (RRP £17.50).

For the eyes:
Start by applying Cosmetics Ala Carte Starshine (RRP £18) in Gilt to the inner corners of the eyes, taking it halfway across the lid and under the eye. On the outer lid apply Mac’s Era Eye Shadow (RRP £11.50). Define the outer edges of the eye with Clinique Cream Shaper (RRP £13.50) for Eyes in Brown Sugar. Curl lashes and apply two coats of Diorshow Mascara (RRP £22.00) in Black. For extra impact add a few individual lashes on the outer corners.

For the cheeks:
Using a large blusher brush apply Clinique’s Blushing Blush Powder (RRP £19) in Innocent Peach. Smile in to the mirror and brush over the apples of the cheeks blending outwards.

For the lips:
Outline using Mac’s Lip Pencil (RRP £10.50) in Sub Culture. Fill with Mac’s Cherish Lipstick (RRP £13.50). Blot with a tissue and brush with blotting powder to create a matt finish.
